I like the assessment for your lesson. I am a dork and love completing worksheets so they are a great way to assess my learning style. I was a bit confused on the second page of the quiz though, only because I couldn't figure out what graph I was supposed to be using, but I chalk that up to the technology malfunction, not you as the teacher. Overall, I thought the assessment was very appropriate and helpful for me as a student! Thanks!
I thought the assessment was a very effective way assessing the students understanding of the concept. I was a bit confused on the second page just because I was unsure which graph correlated with the questions but I remembered you handed out a graph with the quiz so I was able to answer the questions.
The assesment for the lesson plan was a final quiz of the main topic, which was how to read graphs correlated with mode, median, and mean. Then we had to turn in the assignment of our own graphs in the topic of whatever we wanted. The only thing that might of been helpful was for the students to have created a survey and then given them out. Afterwards, for them to record the data on the graph they created. The lesson was planned well.
your assessment was hard for me. I can t remember the last time I had to do mean median and mode. Im sure I got some questions wrong. But this is a great way to see what improvements need to be madefor your students..
I believe that your assessment was helpful for all students to learn. I Like how you created your graph first but maybe next time you should allow students to create their own or as a class with information they like!
